He also covers the statutory duty placed on schools by the so-called ‘Baker Clause’ to create opportunities for other providers to speak to pupils in years 8 to 13
Aspire: Free resources enable Year 12 and 13 teachers to deliver an effective and engaging assembly or lesson about post-18 options, from university to school leaver programmes and apprenticeships, as well as careers advice and inspiration.
Every school and college with students in years 10 – 13 is entitled to access a fully funded, bespoke apprenticeship support package. The Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge for schools and colleges programme (ASK), is funded by the National Apprenticeship Service, part of the Department for Education, to inform students, parents, teachers and governors about the wonderful opportunities that apprenticeships offer.
