Gatsby Benchmark 7: Encounters with Further and Higher Education

All pupils should understand the full range of learning opportunities that are available to them. This includes both academic and vocational routes and learning in schools, colleges, universities and in the workplace

Here you will find resources to support schools to meet 100% in Gatsby Benchmark 7.

Post-18 options

Aspire: Free resources enable Year 12 and 13 teachers to deliver an effective and engaging assembly or lesson about  post-18 options, including university, school leaver programmes and apprenticeships.

All East Sussex schools and colleges with students in years 10 – 13 can access apprenticeship support from ASK (Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge for schools and colleges programme). ASK has resources and activities for students, parents, teachers and governors, mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks. The full brochure outlining the support available can be downloaded.
