Year 11 applications
If you are in year 11 you can still use the online prospectus to search and apply for courses.
Colleges and Sixth forms are still operating and will continue to process online applications.
If you have an interview planned at a school or college, or you are expecting to have one scheduled, then they will be in touch. Please check your online account and e-mails for messages and information about this. There are more specific notes about how each college is continuing with interviews and applications below.
If you require further guidance please get in touch and we will refer you to colleagues who are able to support you during this period of uncertainty.

Year 11 college Applications and Interviews during the Coronavirus period
The information below explains the contingency plans each college has put in place for handling applications and interviews for September 2020.
Where colleges need to contact applicants they may use either the online account messaging or the email account used to apply, so please remember to check both.
East Sussex College (Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings)
We are currently in unprecedented times, which of course is unsettling for everyone. However, there is no need worry about your application. We want to reassure you that you still have a place with us, and you will be able to look forward to starting at East Sussex College in September. As things stand, we are planning to invite you in to complete your enrolment towards the end of August or the beginning of September just before you start.

We are still accepting applications for courses starting in September 2020 and can access these remotely and will respond within 24 hours during Monday-Friday
Bexhill College is still interviewing students – but in a different way. In the current situation, we are not holding face to face interviews. Instead, applicants are being offered telephone interview and will be contacted via email and with an appointment time. This way we can still discuss students plans for continuing their studies next year and reassure them that they have a place at the College confirmed. Offers will be sent through Careers East Sussex or by email.

If you have already applied we will process your applications as usual and will then contact you to arrange a remote interview.
The interview will be with one or curriculum staff as usual by telephone or skype.
If you have not yet applied then please ensure you complete your application as soon as possible so that we can arrange an interview with one of or curriculum staff. The interview will be held remotely by telephone. There will be opportunities to visit the college again before you start your course should you wish to do so before deciding to take up the option of studying with us.
