Find out how we can work with you to make a film about your business, to help young people learn about local industries.

You can volunteer across any of a range of Careers Hub initiatives in East Sussex, including as an Enterprise Adviser or Industry Champion.

Enterprise Advisers
If you are a senior within an organisation, or run your own business and are a strategic-thinker, then you may be well-placed for volunteering as an Enterprise Adviser for up to one day per month, to support one of our schools or colleges with their strategic careers provision. You will also benefit from free CPD and networking meetings throughout the academic year, as well as making a difference to a school or college and their students. For more information go to our Enterprise Adviser page.

Industry Champions
If you would like to support schools or colleges with careers events and activities, whether in person or virtually, then our Industry Champion role could be ideal for you. You can work in any sector, at any level, to become an Industry Champion. We have a growing network of professionals from a wide range of businesses and sectors, who support students via a range of activities, including videos, mock interviews, networking and careers events to name a few. You can sign up on a non-committal basis, however by supporting three or more events or activities during an academic year you will receive an Industry Champion badge for your website, demonstrating your commitment to supporting young people. For more information go to our Industry Champions section.

By volunteering in either role with a school or college, you will:
• Give back to students, schools and families
• Promote your brand and sector to the local community
• Support schools to give excellent careers guidance
• Develop your skills
• Find out how your industry is seen by students and educators
• Understand the education sector better
• Network with other businesses
