Overview

If you are working towards a career in bricklaying, then this Level 2 course will develop your basic skills further to develop your competencies in the industry.

How will it be delivered?

Assessments will take place throughout the duration of the course. Practical tasks will make up 60% of the assessment, 30% will be coursework and 10% will be made up of exams. Constructive feedback from your tutor will help you to improve and progress towards recognised industrial standards.

Entry requirements

2 GCSEs grade D/3 in English and maths, and successful completion of the Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying.

Your next steps...

On completion of the course you could progress onto a higher level of study or start an Apprenticeship in Bricklaying. With some additional training you may also look to start your career in the industry and move into roles such as a Bricklayer, Site manager and a Property developer, or become self-employed.
