This course gives the opportunity to develop both academic and practical skills in an in-depth vocationally focused holistic study of media. Throughout the course, students will cultivate a range of analytical, theoretical and technical skills relevant to working practices in the Creative Media industry. The course is 100% internally assessed (no external examination). Students will also be expected to undertake a relevant work experience placement which the College can help to organise.

At least 4-5 GCSEs graded 9-4.
The course is designed to cater for different media aspirations and disciplines with an emphasis on transferable skills, as well as project specific expertise. The overall aim is preparing students for a career in the Creative Media industry. Our students have gone on to relevant university courses, apprenticeships and full-time employment.
