Ceramics Personal Development Workshop
Preparation for Life and Work
What will you be working towards?
Explore your own personal development in ceramics. Anything goes as long as it is safe. Be experimental or concentrate on learning traditional technical skills such as handbuilding, modelling, mould making, slip casting, throwing, firing and glazing. Create functional tableware, figurative sculpture, tiles or installations. Draw on inspiration from classmates, teaching staff and the excellent facilities. An inspiring and supportive course for those with some experience in ceramics to develop their own projects with expert tutorial and technical support in a very well equipped ceramic department. Tutor: Sheila Hay
How will it be delivered?
Continuous informal assessment throughout the sessions, and where appropriate, through the use of Individual Learning Plans, as specified by RARPA
Your next steps...
Some courses will offer progression routes, there may also be an opportunity to join other associated courses or clubs. This will be discussed during the last lesson.
