Overview
This course explores the application of counselling skills in a range of different settings. Underpinning learning is the Person Centred Approach to counselling and therapy which offers participants a challenging and exciting opportunity to practically engage in counselling skills and explore self development. The course one weekend residential, and one or two Saturdays. Entry is only open to those over the age of 19 at the course start date. How will it be delivered?
Formative assessment is ongoing from tutor and peers. Final assessment is a portfolio of work including skills feedback sheets, self-assessment, learning journal and a case study. This course is NCFE CACHE accredited.
