Overview
If you would like to gain a Level 2 qualification in Science which is the equivalent of 3 GCSEs, then this course is for you. After this course you could progress onto Level 3 courses at the College and it is an excellent stepping stone on to the Extended Diplomas in Applied Science or Health and Social Care.
Details
The course consists of a broad range of science topics including Physics, Chemistry and Biology units.
You will cover several units including:
• Science of the Earth
• Science of Health
• Physics in Sport
How will it be delivered?
All units are internally assessed by written work in a portfolio and successful work is awarded a pass, merit or distinction grade. Work will include a range of practical and written skills. Your ability to plan and analyse practical investigations is also assessed.
