The two year UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production is equivalent in size and value to 3 full A Levels. It is designed to prepare you for employment in the music industry, self-employment or for progression to higher education. Year 1 comprises the Diploma, and most students progress to the Extended Diploma in year 2. You will undertake a wide and exciting range of practical project work to develop your skills in our industry standard facilities to prepare you for work or further study.
Musicians will need to be multi-skilled and be able to work within a wide range of different fields in order to have a long lasting and rewarding career in the industry. This course has been designed to help you accomplish this.
How will it be delivered?
You will be assessed by way of assignments which are both practical and research-based using industry standard techniques and practices including audio recordings, video interviews and tutorials, and blogs.
You must achieve at least five GCSEs grade A*/9 - C/4 in four different subjects, including English Language, and Music BTEC Level 2 merit, if taken.
