Overview

You will further increase your knowledge and technical ability of plumbing during workshop based lessons and work experience opportunities, helping to prepare you for a career in the plumbing trade.

How will it be delivered?

Assessments will take place throughout the duration of the course. Practical tasks will make up 50% of the assessment and the other 50% will be made up of exams. Constructive feedback from your tutor will help you to improve and progress towards recognised industrial standards.

Entry requirements

2 GCSEs grade D/3 in English and maths, and successful completion of the Level 1 Diploma in Plumbing.

Your next steps...

On completion of the course you can progress onto the Level 3 Plumbing course or start an apprenticeship in plumbing. With additional training you could then progress into employment as a Plumber, a domestic heating engineer, a Commercial plumbing and heating engineer, a Plumbing and heating maintenance engineer, a Hot and cold water systems designer, an Air-conditioning and refrigeration systems engineer, or a Site manager.
