Overview

During this advanced course you will learn a range of advanced skills in plumbing which will provide a great foundation for your career or to go on to specialise in new technologies.

How will it be delivered?

Assessments will take place throughout the duration of the course. Practical tasks will make up 50% of the assessment and 50% will be made up of exams. Accuracy and being able to complete tasks within a set time constraint are essential for successful completion. Constructive feedback from your tutor will also help you to improve and progress towards recognised industrial standards.

Entry requirements

Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and GCSE Maths grade 4 or Level 2 Functional Skills, and GCSE English grade 3.

Your next steps...

On completion of the course you can progress onto a Level 4 HNC in Construction or start an apprenticeship in plumbing. There are a number of career opportunities available to you including working as a Plumber, a Heating Engineer, an Air-conditioning and refrigeration systems engineer, or a Site Manager.
