During this course you will be able to build on knowledge that you will have gained from studying Level 2 or your GCSE PE. This course will enable you to have a more in depth understanding of the scientific principles and training methods within this exciting industry.
How will it be delivered?
You will study a total of 14 units in the two years which will be internally and externally assessed through a variety of assessment methods including exams, written reports and essays, presentations, and practical observations.
The course is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and you will be awarded an overall grade consisting of 3 grades, e.g., PPP, MMM or DDM.
5 GCSEs grade A*/9 - C/4 including English and maths, or a Level 2 Sports qualification.
Your next steps...
Once you have completed the course you could progress onto University to study a range of sport-related disciplines, or you may choose to join one of our other sports industry related qualifications such as the Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training or Level 3 Diploma in Preventing Injuries in Sport and Active Leisure.
With additional training you can start your career in the industry as a Sports coach, Personal trainer, Sport therapist, Youth worker, Sports scientist, Sports psychologist or Sports nutritionist
