Overview
Learn advanced skills and techniques for the fine dining restaurant, including preparing and constructing complex dishes, as well as canapés and cocktails.
This course is mainly practical, working within our production and training kitchens.You will have input on designing menus and the units you wish to take to achieve the qualification. Working with experienced chef lecturers, the course is aimed at extending you to achieve your full potential, creating diverse and interesting dishes. You are encouraged to work in local hospitality kitchens and, if you wish, you can become a programme-led apprentice.
Our popular fine dining restaurant, coffee shop and industrial kitchens provide an ideal environment to learn the skills needed for a career in the catering and hospitality industry. You will also have the opportunity to enter regional cookery competitions, cater for community events and work with celebrity chefs.
