We are East Sussex College, and we are more than education. We are EdYOUcation.

Our EdYOUcation puts you at the centre of everything we do.

Student support

Learning support

Our Additional Learning Support team can help give you the best chance of success. We recognise that everyone has different learning needs, so we will make sure that you are given the support and encouragement you need. 

Our experienced teams will work with you to help remove obstacles that prevent you from learning, and make sure positive outcome are achieved. We have been recognised for our excellence in a number of areas including:

We work closely with the East Sussex Local Safeguarding Children Board to make sure that all young people are protected from any kind of abuse. We have a designated team of staff to protect our students and actively promote safeguarding.

Our friendly Admissions team is at the heart of the college’s support system and can provide you with any information, advice, and guidance you may need during your time with us.

You can talk to them about joining or changing a course; find out what’s on offer and what’s right for you, financial information, the student associations you can become a part of, and the types of support available to you, which may include childcare, travel bursaries, careers education, higher education, and apprenticeships.

Financial support

If you are worried about affording your course, there are many sources of financial help that you could be eligible for including bursaries, travel grants and discounts, grants, and discretionary learner support.

Want to study in Hastings?

Our Station Plaza campus us right next to Hastings train and bus stations. Our Ore Valley campus is a very short walk from Ore train station, and our Automotive Training Centre is on the main bus route along the ridge.

Thinking of joining us in Eastbourne?

Our Eastbourne campus is on Cross Levels Way and has regular buses coming from Eastbourne town centre. It is also a short walk from Hampden Park train station.

Looking to study in Lewes?
Our Lewes campus is along Mountfield Road and is right around the corner from Lewes train station and a short walk from Lewes bus station.
