Uplands Community College School Sixth Form
Achieving a place in our sixth form is a goal that the vast majority of our students work towards during their time in the main school. This is not just because of the strong results we enable them to achieve, but because they want to be a part of something special. Life in our sixth form is an engaging experience both in and outside of the classroom – an experience that continues to develop each student’s full set of life skills, shaping them into the young adults that will ultimately leave us for the next chapter in their lives.
Being a part of the sixth form at Uplands means being willing to develop an outward-looking approach to life. Extra-curricular events take place every term, impacting upon both the wider school and the community. We welcome applications from students at other schools, who every year quickly find a new home with us.
What makes us different?
Our relatively small size means that every student is known by their teachers and that their true potential can be achieved.
Our driving goal is that every young adult finds success in fulfilling their ambitions; that our sixth form is a place where lifelong friendships are made along the way, and that treasured memories are created.
